Number Wisdom
What’s In a Number?
At some point on my journey into understanding and conquering the mystical, numbers started to cross my radar screen and capture my attention. Of course, the symbology was always there, it just did not occur to me to pay much consideration to it. When my father died in the late seventies from a car accident on Friday the 13th, the idea became viable. Traditionally in our culture, most of us choose to believe that the 13th is a potentially unlucky number. There is not a year that goes by that I do not stop and reflect that he lost his life on that day, on that solitary road in Happy, Texas.
Why is that?
The fear is said to date back to biblical times while during the Last Supper, the thirteenth guest to arrive was the traitor, Judas. Even Norse Mythology claims a table of thirteen can be fatal. Others claim it to be a number that carries an important meaning from the spiritual realm. If it happens to show up on your path, it means the angels are trying to get your attention.
So, which one is it?
For me, the number 13th carries the vibration to stop and notice; to pay attention. Higher realms of consciousness, mostly Ascended Masters, are trying to get my attention. Having yin, or feminine energy, the message in my wheelhouse is for me to stop and listen. Some combinations have some baggage.
If you belong to the group that believes in the Hindu or Buddhist belief of karma and dharma, there are a few double-digit ones you want to avoid. If you want to know more, Google karmic debt. Thirteen is known for issues of being self-indulgent, lazy, or having self-control. Fourteen has to do with ridding oneself of fear and staying with the program. Focusing may be a challenge. Dump the excuses and get it done. The 16 brings challenges of sabotage, humility and starting anew. You got to get rid of the old and break the habit of eing you.
And the last one, 19? With a higher sum, it means letting go of the ego and pride while finding your independence and your life’s purpose. It vibrates with service to others.
When buying real estate, I avoid any house that adds up the 13, 14, 16 or 19. They are patterns and energy I try to avoid. If you are curious of your birth number, add up all the numbers of your birth. For instance, my Jack Russell, Trixie was born 2-11-2011. Her number is 8. Add the 2 + 1+ 1+ 2+ 0 + 1 +1 = 8. My birthdate adds up to 35 and becomes an 8 (3 + 5). Eights are about abundance and prosperity. We could go on and on.
Numbers are everywhere.
Simply put, numerology is the study of the metaphysical meanings of numbers. They are constant in our lives. Our government tracks us with a nine-digit code from our birth. We all have a ten-digit phone number or two, with a billing address with two, three or even five numbers. In sports we have our names and our numbers on our jerseys. When we go to a concert we sit in row K, seat 21 and 22. It is endless.
Do I need to keep going?
In general, if you are seeing 11, 111, or 11:11, the message is to stay positive, and to be aware of your thoughts. Stop to observe what you are mulling over, who you are talking to or anything happening at the time.
If you are finding that 22,222, or 2222 is popping in to grace your day, the angelic realm wants you to know you are making progress and to keep up the hard work. They are cheering you on. Stay with it and persevere.
My favorite for quite some time is the 33, 333, or 3333. It is the wisdom of being human and the collective intelligence of the Ascended Master. An Ascended Master is someone who was alive at one time, lived multiple, if not thousands of lives, and has ascended to a place of never having to return to an earthly lifetime. Think Buddha, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa, Princess Di, and so many more.
Without spending too much more time, take some time to explore the numbers in your life. Calculate your life number, your house number, and the vibration of your birth name. The resources in this area are endless and fascinating. If you are struggling to understand the mystical, read, study, and absorb the ancient teachings of numerology.
There are gems in those words, and treasures in the wisdom.
Go forth dear readers and ascend.
