The Third Lane of Life in Numerology
Three months before I quit my career for good, I hired a numerologist for a reading. She told me that I was in the sixth year, of my final nine year cycle, in the middle lane of life. My brain screamed silently, “Are you kidding me? What does that mean?”
My second lane, she informed me began at age 29 and would conclude in thirty years. The third lane, which I was moving toward, was about being called to honor my soul. My mission, she exclaimed repeatedly, was to become a humanitarian, a teacher, and a spiritual giver of wisdom.
The synchronicities of her words were evident. The second lane she conveyed, dominated by a 17/8, was all about money, power, business, and real estate. She was absolutely right. In reflection, I realized that when I entered the second lane of life at 29 years of age, I started driving a brand new Mercury Sable, began investing in the stock market, and started saving 10% of my income in a 401K. In May, I got a check for $28,000 from my mom’s estate. Five years later, making six figures was a reality. My past certainly fit into her view point of this whole lane theory. Numerology was sounding a bit more interesting and certainly seemed to have merit. The last twenty-five years have been all about working hard and creating wealth.
Although I had not shared the knowledge with her, the numerologist was spot on about the whole third lane calling to me to become a humanitarian. Education is a passion of mine and learning for me should be life long. For close to seven years I have volunteered at local high schools teaching Success Skills and Careers with a Purpose through Junior Achievement. Teaching comes in so many forms. Being a wisdom giver was a lot more complex with far reaching ramifications. Being in the spirtiual realm started back when I became a teenager.
The idea of being a humanitarian was nebulous to me. Many times before I had been told I was a light worker; destined to do great things in the world. Don’t be surprised, she offered, if you leave your industry soon and find yourself in a new business venture. To finally be a wisdom giver outside of the closet, without judgement, without fear, resonated with my soul.
So here I am, writing, blogging, talking to you from my heart. Since the opportunity to make “choices, choices, choices” was on the horizon for me, I needed to make decisions that set me free. Decisions that made my mind soar and my heart sing. This third lane of life for me is going to be about giving back to the community in grand and little ways. It is about teaching others the way to a more fulfilled spiritual life. It is about joy.
My intent in writing to you is to inspire other women. If you have a story you want to share about giving back to your community, or how you have given wisdom that has made a difference please email me. Sharing will make a difference. Together we can raise the vibration of the universe and move mountains.
